When I first landed in San Francisco, I had no U.S. degree, no U.S. work experience, and absolutely no idea how the job market worked here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I applied to hundreds of jobs. The only company that responded offered me a 100% commission-based insurance role. I felt lost and discouraged for 8 long months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But\u2014I was lucky. I connected with people who generously offered guidance, encouragement, and real-world advice. They didn\u2019t just help me find a job; they showed me how to network and what it meant to be a great sales professional in this new environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Fast forward to today<\/strong>: I\u2019m a seasoned sales professional and trusted advisor in Silicon Valley. I\u2019ve worked with startups and Fortune 500 companies, and I\u2019ve earned&nbsp;<strong>10 years of President\u2019s Club honors<\/strong>&nbsp;in the San Francisco Bay Area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If I can do it\u2014you can too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whether you\u2019re a college student just starting out, switching careers, or navigating cultural or industry changes\u2014remember this:&nbsp;<strong>some fundamentals never change<\/strong>.
